Hey, I'm Mark!
I'm the head of sales and outreach, and as my wife, Tani, likes to say, "the idea guy." I've been watching and supporting Tani in growing her businesses for years, and when I realized how much she had grown her tech skills and understanding of marketing strategies I realized we needed to share this information with the world.
Too many small business owners are struggling just to get seen in their local neighborhoods, or finding the time to connect with or follow up with potential clients. As I say, "A plumber is usually a really great plumber, but that means' (s)he is too busy to be a really great marketer."
No one opens their business because they LOVE posting on social media or creating content daily, or building funnels and appointment reminders (except maybe Tani). So I knew we were on to something special.

Hey, I'm Tani!
When I launched my first business I was clueless about digital marketing, brand awareness, social media strategy, and all the small pieces that line up to make a visible and successful business. I just really loved what I did and I wanted to share that passion with the world.
I invested in a business coach and threw myself into learning everything I could about marketing and sales. Eventually my coach hired me, recognizing my knack for small business and marketing.
I now own my own brick-and-mortar studio, I continue to offer virtual wellness services, and I still love supporting other small business owners in making their marketing more effective and time efficient.

Hey, I'm Scott!
I'm the tech guy, usually behind the scenes. I'm content to stay out of the lime light. As Tani tells me, my gift is "speaking computer". I make all the pieces fit together, and am usually in charge of deciphering what's going on when things don't line up precisely.
You won't see me often, but you'll be REALLY glad when I'm around because it means your headaches are about to go away.
When Tani and Mark brought the idea for Rising Tide to me, I got pretty excited. It seemed like a great idea that would fill a pretty big need for small businesses. I've spent time creating websites for local businesses and essentially helping "non-techies" by doing the heavy lifting of things that don't make sense to a lot of people.
MEET THE DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA
Hey, I'm Morgan!
I'm the director of social media here at Rising Tide, which basically means I'm the one who takes your ideas and makes them come to life online. Seriously, no idea is too crazy. If you can dream it up, I want to figure out how to bring it to your feed.
My background is in fitness and nutrition marketing, where I spent years learning what makes people stop scrolling and start paying attention. But strategy is strategy. Whether you sell protein powder or plumbing services, the fundamentals of connecting with your audience don't change much, and I've found I pick up new industries fast. Every business has a story worth telling, I just help you tell it in a way people actually want to watch.
When I'm not building content calendars or brainstorming your next campaign, you'll probably find me covered in fur. I foster dogs on the side, and at home I've got a full house with my dog Patch and my two cats, Sabre and Mimi, all rescues. If you ever need proof that patience and consistency pay off, just ask me about training a foster dog who came in terrified of everything. Turns out that's not so different from building trust with a new audience either.
